“Whether Siddaramaiah is patriot or a traitor…”: BJP MP Nishikant Dubey attacks Karnataka CM – World News Network

New Delhi [India], April 28 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party leader Nishikant Dubey on Monday attacked Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah over his ‘no need of war’ remark and asked the people to find out whether Karnataka CM is a “patriot or a traitor.”
“Whether Siddaramaiah is a patriot or a traitor, people should find it out…I do not need to ask anything from Rahul Gandhi, I have faith in my Prime Minister, Home Minister and Defence Minister,” Dubey told ANI.
He also reacted to JKPCC President Tariq Hamid Karra’s reported statement that India should have talks with Pakistan and asked whether we should perform their aarti.
“Unko aarti utaarni chahiye…Pakistanis will kill our people, and we will perform their aarti,” he added.
Earlier today, Bharatiya Janata Party leader Ravi Shankar Prasad launched a scathing attack on Congress, saying that while the party has said they are with all the government’s decisions, certain Congress leaders have uttered incorrect and insulting statements regarding the Pahalgam attack in Jammu and Kashmir.
“Even Congress has said that they are with every step of the government; this is a sign of a mature democracy, and when the country is in trouble, we should all stand up. I remember when 26/11 happened, I had strict instructions from the party that I should take only one line, ‘that we are with the government’, even during an interview on an international channel, I had said this is not the time to settle political scores,” Prasad said.
Earlier on April 26, Siddaramaiah had written in a post on X, “There is no need to declare war on Pakistan regarding terrorist attacks. Steps should be taken to tighten security measures in the Kashmir region. We do not favour war; an environment should be created where people can live peacefully. The central government should increase security to ensure peace in Kashmir.”
The terror attack on April 22 in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pahalgam targeted tourists, killing 26 people, including one Nepalese national. Following the Pahalgam terror attack, India has taken strong measures against Pakistan for its support of cross-border terrorism. (ANI)
