Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh) [India], July 31 (ANI): Two devotees, including a woman, sustained minor injuries after being hit by an e-cart vehicle facing brake failure on the premises of Mahakaleshwar temple in Madhya Pradesh’s Ujjain district on Wednesday, an assistant administrator of the temple said.
The two devotees have been identified as Lal Baba, saint of Mahanirvani Akhada Ujjain and Priya (21), a resident of Bhopal. They sustained injuries in their legs and got discharged after getting primary treatment.
Assistant administrator of Mahakal temple, Moolchand Junwal told ANI, “A brake failure occurred in an e-cart vehicle, which runs on the premises of Mahakaleshwar temple for the convenience of the devotees, leaving two devotees sustained minor injuries in the incident. Both the devotees were given primary treatment and discharged from the hospital and they are completely healthy.”
Due to the alertness of the driver of the e-cart vehicle, a major accident was averted, Junwal added.
On the other hand, Saint Lal Baba told ANI, “Everything is fine, there is no major problem. I sustained a minor injury in the leg, got the primary treatment and now everything is completely healthy.”
Priya’s mother told reporters, “The accident occurred due to the vehicle running on the premises of the temple. We were going on foot and the vehicle hit my daughter. I pray to Baba Mahakal that my daughter get proper treatment.” (ANI)
