“He doesn’t even hesitate to divide country to get into power”: BJP MP Kangana Ranaut slams Rahul Gandhi – World News Network

Mandi (Himachal Pradesh) [India], September 20 (ANI): BJP MP from Mandi, Kangana Ranaut on Friday slammed Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, over the statements he made during his US visit and said that the Congress doesn’t even hesitate to divide the country to get into power.
“A few people are being used, fringe groups are being instigated–the kind of things Rahul Gandhi speaks about the country when he goes abroad, people know it. What he feels about the country is not hidden from anyone. He doesn’t even hesitate to divide the country to get into power,” Ranaut told ANI.
Rahul Gandhi’s comments on various issues sparked controversy in India, after which the BJP leader slammed the leader and condemned Gandhi’s statements.
Speaking in Virginia, US, the Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha said that the fight is about whether a Sikh, is going to be allowed to wear a turban in India and would be able to visit a Gurdwara.
“First of all, you have to understand what the fight is about. Fight is not about politics. It is superficial. What is your name? The fight is about whether…he as a Sikh is going to be allowed to wear his turban in India. Or he as a Sikh is going to be allowed to wear a kada in India. Or a Sikh is going to be able to go to Gurdwara. That’s what the fight is about and not just for him, for all religions,” he said.
Another issue on which the BJP leader slammed was when Rahul Gandhi, said that Congress party will think of scrapping reservations when India becomes a “fair place,” which it is not.
He also reiterated the need to conduct a caste census while saying that 90 per cent of the country’s population — OBCs, Dalits and Adivasis– not having proper representation in the country is the “elephant in the room.”
“There’s an elephant in the room. When we talk about the capture of institutions, businesses, and the media, the elephant in the room is that 90 per cent of India–OBCs, Dalits, Adivasis–aren’t even part of the game. That’s really the elephant in the room,” Rahul Gandhi said. (ANI)
