Havan and prayers performed by Badrinath-Kedarnath temple committee on CM Dhami’s birthday – World News Network

Kedarnath (Uttarakhand) [India], September 16 (ANI): On the birthday of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami, falling in the Bhadrapada month on Shukla Paksha Trayodashi, prayers and havan were performed by the Badrinath – Kedarnath Temple Committee (BKTC) in Badrinath and Kedarnath on Monday.
The subordinate temples Ukhimath Omkareshwar Temple, Joshimath Nrisinha Temple, Kedar Tungnath temple and Kalimatha Temple were also present in the havan, as per a statement issued by BKTC.
A puja and havan were also performed at the subordinate temples.
On this occasion, wishes were made for the long life of the Chief Minister and happiness and prosperity of the state.
BKTC President Ajendra Ajay said that a Mahabhishek Puja was performed in the name of the Chief Minister by Rawal, Acharya and Vedpathis in Badrinath and Shodashopachar and Rudrabhishek Puja were performed in Kedarnath Dham, as per the release.
Vice President Kishore Pawar and Chief Executive Officer Vijay Prasad Thapliyal participated in the Puja at Badrinath Dham.
Additionally, Ajendra Ajay said that on the birthday of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, a special puja will be organized in all the temples including Badrinath-Kedarnath and wishes will be made for his long life and the well-being of the country, as per the release.
Meanwhile, CM Dhami offered prayers at the Tapkeshwar Mahadev temple on the occasion of his birthday on Monday. The CM’s wife, Geeta Dhami, also participated in the prayers with him.
While speaking to reporters, CM Dhami said, “People in the state have been suffering due to damage caused by various natural disasters. I have appealed to everyone to reach out to affected people and help them out in every possible way.”
“I wish that the aspirations about Naya Uttarakhand, which Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke about, would become real. Uttarakhand will progress in every field,” CM Dhami hailed PM Modi. (ANI)
