Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh) [India], July 22 (ANI): Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav on Monday inspected the government Hamidia Hospital located in the state capital Bhopal.
During the inspection, CM Yadav also interacted with the patients and their family members present with them in the hospital. The Chief Minister further said that the way hospital management was working, he hoped that no one would face any kind of difficulty in the hospital.

“It is the biggest hospital in the state with a capacity of 2250 beds. Currently, 1850 beds are ready for the patients and around 1400 patients are undergoing treatment here as of now. The way hospital management is working we hope that no one will face any kind of difficulty in the hospital,” CM Yadav told reporters.
The CM also said that several new proposals had come before him in view of new development in the hospital. As a result of which many new infrastructure and equipment would be added to the hospital.
“I have also received proposals for some new work which include a proposal for Regional Institute of Respiratory worth Rs 35 crores, Centre of Excellence and Orthopaedics worth Rs 42 crores and new machines for cancer treatment worth Rs 30 crores,” CM said.
A Bone Marrow Centre will be started soon. New hostel block for PG students worth Rs 20 crores, MRI CT machine worth Rs 20 crores will soon be added to the hospital. New integrated OPD block worth Rs 35 crores and a new UG hostel worth Rs 17 crores will be built, he added.
“Our government is very serious in terms of development, especially in the health sector. The money invested by the government should be used properly and it creates trust among the public. The public also has faith in government hospitals. Our effort is that everyone should do their duty with quality and efficiency in all these works. Trust is naturally built by inspecting from time to time,” CM Yadav further said.
Hospital is a place where people rush immediately when they are in trouble. Hospitals should work properly in terms of facilities, he added. (ANI)
