Samajwadi Party’s DNA test demand in Ayodhya rape case is conspiracy to save accused: UP BSP chief – World News Network

Faizabad (Uttar Pradesh) [India], August 4 (ANI): Bahujan Samaj Party state president Vishwanath Pal on Sunday alleged that the demand of the Samajwadi Party to conduct a DNA test in connection with the rape of a minor girl in Ayodhya is a conspiracy to save the accused.
“There is no need for DNA as the victim is admitted to the hospital and is giving the statement and if the Samajwadi Party is saying this (for DNA test), then it is definitely a conspiracy to save the accused. When their (SP) government was in power, we don’t think they had ordered any DNA test in such an incident,” Pal told ANI.
Pal said that the mother of the victim in the Ayodhya rape case told him that she is being pressurized in connection to the case.
“When I went to her (victim’s) house, her mother was also saying that people are pressurizing her, so I told her not to be afraid and she will get justice,” Pal said.
He also targeted Bharatiya Janata Party-led central government over the Ayodhya rape case saying, “The slogan given by the government, ‘Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao’, is hollow. They should give justice and security to daughters.”
He also targeted Samajwadi Party for not expelling Moeed Khan even after being accused in a rape case.
“Today he (Moeed Khan) is an office bearer of Samajwadi Party, but still they have not expelled him from the party,” Pal told ANI.
Earlier, the Ayodhya district administration demolished the “illegally constructed” bakery of Samajwadi Party leader Moeed Khan, the main accused in the gang rape of a minor girl.
SDM Ashok Kumar said, “The bakery has been sealed after it was found illegal, and action to demolish the bakery has been initiated.”
Following this, the administration demolished the boundary wall constructed on the pond, deeming it illegal as well.
This action comes after Khan and his house help were accused of raping and blackmailing a 12-year-old girl who worked as a daily wage employee at Khan’s home in Ayodhya.
A case was filed against Khan for allegedly threatening the victim’s family to settle the case. He was arrested on Thursday for raping the girl over two months. (ANI)
