Union Minister Giriraj Singh accuses Congress, RJD of temple vandalism in Bihar – World News Network

Purnea (Bihar) [India], October 20 (ANI): Union Minister Giriraj Singh has alleged that members of the Congress and RJD vandalised a temple and its idol in Sanhaula, Bhagalpur, at 5 a.m. on Sunday.
Speaking to ANI, Singh said, “Some individuals have vandalised a temple and its idol in Sanhaula, Bhagalpur, at 5 a.m. I have received information that the RJD and Congress are responsible for this. Their aim is to incite riots and make it seem as if this occurred after my visit. I want to make it clear to the administration that the RJD and Congress are behind this. Rahul Gandhi has openly allowed for civil unrest in the country. The real culprits must be apprehended.”
Earlier today, Giriraj Singh claimed that Hindus from the JD(U), RJD, Communist parties, Congress, and BJP are supporting his ‘Hindu Swabhiman Yatra’ in Bihar.
The Union Minister’s remarks followed JD(U) leader Khalid Anwar’s accusation that Singh promotes an “extremist ideology,” which, according to him, is not conducive to governing Bihar. Singh further stated that he is unafraid of going to jail.
“Jail is nothing. I will continue this fight until my last drop of blood. If they want to demolish temples, promote love jihad, spit jihad, education jihad, and land jihad, let them. Hindus from the JD(U), RJD, Communist parties, Congress, and BJP are with us. This yatra is not about political leaders or parties,” Singh told ANI.
Earlier in the day, Khalid Anwar accused Giriraj Singh of trying to destroy the social harmony of Bihar with his Hindu Swabhiman Yatra.
The senior BJP leader began his ‘Hindu Swabhiman Yatra’ from Bhagalpur district in Bihar on Friday.
“I am thankful to the BJP for distancing itself from Giriraj Singh’s extremist ideology. They have shown that Bihar is a land of brotherhood. Bihar cannot be governed with the ideology of people like Giriraj Singh,” Anwar told ANI.
Before embarking on his yatra, Singh had accused leaders of the INDIA bloc of engaging in Muslim appeasement.
Giriraj Singh also claimed that Akhilesh Yadav’s DNA is “anti-Hindu,” referencing the actions of his late father, former UP Chief Minister Mulayam Singh Yadav, who ordered police to fire at Karsevaks in 1990. (ANI)
