Gorakhpur (Uttar Pradesh) [India] September 19 (ANI): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated a floating restaurant at Ramgarhtal in Gorakhpur district on Thursday and distributed certificates to the allottees of the Greenwood apartment housing project.
The residential project was taken up by the Gorakhpur Development Authority (GDA).

During the restaurant’s inauguration, CM Yogi highlighted that it would boost tourism in Gorakhpur.
“Today, Gorakhpur is attracting every tourist. We are inaugurating a floating restaurant that will allow people to spend time with their families by the lake,” CM Yogi said.
He added that the restaurant would also create employment opportunities.
“People from Gorakhpur and eastern UP who work outside have a desire to find work closer to home,” he said.
Regarding the Greenwood Apartment Residential Project, CM Yogi stated, “The apartment, covering 5 acres, will include 300 3-BHK flats and 189 4-BHK flats. Our goal is for these residents to move into their homes before Makar Sankranti 2027, so they can enjoy khichdi at home and share it with others.”
CM Yogi highlighted Gorakhpur’s transformation, saying, “Fifteen to twenty years ago, Gorakhpur was known for its underdevelopment. People hesitated to visit Ramgarh Tal. The fertilizer factory was closed, and traffic jams were a struggle. Today, roads have become four-lane and six-lane, the airport is the busiest, the fertilizer factory has reopened, and medical services have improved with AIIMS also providing services.”
On Wednesday, CM Yogi praised the Union Cabinet’s approval of the ‘One Nation, One Election’ proposal as a “milestone” step towards ensuring political stability in the country.
Emphasizing the importance of political stability, CM Yogi wrote on ‘X’, “Political stability is vital for a flourishing democracy. The approval given to the One Nation, One Election proposal by the Union Cabinet today, under the successful leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is commendable.” (ANI)
