New Delhi [India], July 2 (ANI): After as many as 116 people died in a stampede incident at a religious event in Uttar Pradesh’s Hathras, Samajwadi Party MP Akhilesh Yadav on Tuesday questioned the government over the preparations when it was aware that there would be a large gathering at an event.

Help should be provided to the families of the deceased. I hope that the government will ensure the best treatment for the injured,” Yadav said.
